Die Ainu sind eine ethnische Gruppe verwandter indigener Völker, die im Norden Japans beheimatet sind. Ihre zeremoniellen Gewänder sind mit wunderschönen geometrischen Mustern verziert. Sie glaubten, dass diese Muster böse Geister abwehren und den Träger schützen. Meine Illustration wurde von ihrem traditionellen Kranichtanz inspiriert.
